Over the weekend of the 23 and 24 April 2016, the Anna Freud Centre hosted its first Hackathon! The aim of the event, co-produced by the joint efforts of  Founders and Coders and the London and South East CYP IAPT Learning Collaborative, was to improve the digital technology used in children and young people’s mental health services.

From 12th – 23rd September 2016,  young people, CAMHS professionals and Founder & Coders  worked together to develop ideas for digital products that can be used to benefit children and young people mental health. Four out of a room full of ideas were chosen to be developed into prototypes, and then came a round of user testing.

The four prototypes were pitched to the judges who had the very difficult choice to name the two that would receive a months worth of further development.
