These new roles form part of a new CYP IAPT initiative; the Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) Programme and will provide a great opportunity to develop a radically new form of low intensity help for children and young people with mild to moderate health needs around anxiety, self-harm, low mood and behaviour.

As part of the ongoing service transformation that seeks to improve children and young people’s mental health services, Health Education England and NHS England are funding new therapy trainings for people working in child mental health services as part of the CYP IAPT programme.
