Thrive LDN

A message from Thrive LDN:

Thrive LDN is a citywide movement to improve the mental health and wellbeing of all Londoners.

It is led by Cllr Sarah Hayward, on behalf of The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and the London Health Board, along with many businesses, charities, and public services, and has been developed with the support of Londoners, including experts by experience.

Thrive LDN aims to enable London citizens to lead healthier, happier lives, which means:

  • An inclusive London where people’s lives are not limited by mental health stigma and discrimination
  •  An enabled London where people mental health literate and equipped to develop good mental health and wellbeing
  • An empowered London where public services and Londoners come together to coproduce thriving communities

Timelines

In May 2017 we will start building our brand awareness:

  • Raise public awareness of Thrive LDN
  • Encourage people to become ongoing, active participants

In July 2017 the Mayor of London will launch the Thrive LDN publication, setting out our plans for the next year and engage with Londoners on a local and citywide level.

Update: this publication can now be found here.

Following this we will plan and prioritise based on the outcomes of this engagement.

In the Autumn 2017 we will start delivering interventions based on the engagement and insight we’ve developed (building on best practice, evidence etc.)
